CERTIFICATE IN ACCESS TO AESTHETIC THERAPIES

Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety requirements, anatomy, physiology, and pathology and electrical science, alongside skin analysis and safe practice treatment protocols for facial skin care.

Award in Skin Needling

The aim of this qualification is to develop the learner’s knowledge, understanding and practical skills when using superficial skin needling equipment and techniques to rejuvenate the condition of the skin. Learners will acquire skills involved in providing a thorough consultation, skin health checks to establish the client’s suitability for treatment and to formulate a specific treatment plan tailored to suit individual client needs. Learners will prepare and apply a range of skin needling treatments, as well as providing the relevant pre and post care.

Award in Skin Peeling

The aim of this qualification is to develop the learner’s knowledge, understanding and practical skills when using superficial skin peel products and techniques to rejuvenate the condition of the skin. Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology and health and safety pertaining to level 4 non-medical aesthetic therapies. They will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to consult with and analyse clients whilst providing skin needling treatments. In parallel, learners will develop their communication and customer service skills and widen their knowledge of the principles and practices of level 4 non-medical aesthetic therapies, all of which are valued highly by employers.

Certificate in Skin Peeling

Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology and health and safety pertaining to level 4 non-medical aesthetic therapies. They will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to consult with and analyse clients whilst providing skin peeling treatments. Diploma in Holistic Massage

The main aim of the VTCT Skills (ITEC) Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide massage treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the massage industry. This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and over and is designed to provide occupational competence at level 3. It also provides a sound platform into further training at level 3 and 4.
