The ITEC Level 4 Diploma in Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatments aims to equip learners with the advanced practical and theoretical skills required to provide laser and pulsed light treatments safely and effectively. This qualification prepares learners for employment within the Beauty Therapy Industry. It provides full occupational competence at Level 4, as well as a strong foundation for further specialist training at Level 4.Designed for learners wishing to work professionally with advanced aesthetic technologies.

Key Skills Developed:

• Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatments – including comprehensive consultation procedures, skin and hair analysis (using tools such as the Fitzpatrick scale), identifying contraindications and contra-actions, carrying out essential tests prior to treatment, and adapting treatment protocols to meet individual client needs

In addition, learners will gain essential knowledge in health and safety, client care, and communication, all of which are vital for safe practice and success within the industry.
