LEVEL 6 CERTIFICATE IN ADVANCED SKIN NEEDLING

The ITEC Level 6 Certificate in Advanced Skin Needling is an advanced therapy qualification designed for Level 3 qualified beauty practitioners. This course allows practitioners to expand their treatment offerings and deliver professional skin needling treatments safely and effectively.

This qualification is informed by employers, national occupational standards for beauty therapy, and frameworks established by the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) and the Cosmetic Practice Standards Authority (CPSA). It provides all the required elements to work confidently as a commercial skin needling practitioner.

Learners must complete all mandatory units, which include:

• Principles, Practices, and Ethical Considerations for Advanced Aesthetic Therapies
• Consultative Techniques in Advanced Aesthetic Therapies
• Dermatological Science for Advanced Aesthetic Therapies
• Provide Advanced Skin Needling Treatments

Skills and Knowledge Developed:

• Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and health & safety related to Level 4, 5, and 6 non-medical aesthetic therapies
• Client consultation, assessment, and treatment planning

This Level 6 qualification provides the expertise and confidence to deliver advanced skin needling treatments while upholding the highest standards of safety, ethics, and professionalism.

• Theoretical instruction is offered online for group or institutional study, as well as through in-person attendance. Practical sessions are mandatory.
