Core Skills Covered:

• Lymphatic drainage massage techniques – including consultation procedures, recognizing contraindications, selecting appropriate massage mediums for different skin types, performing classical lymphatic drainage movements, and adapting treatments to meet individual client needs

Learners will also develop essential knowledge and skills in:
• Health and safety requirements, professional conduct, client care, and effective communication
• The structure and function of the lymphatic system, as well as common conditions that may influence treatment suitability
• Professional skills relevant to a massage setting—such as working collaboratively, problem-solving, and communicating confidently with clients
• The personal qualities, techniques, and professional behaviours required for successful employment as a massage therapist
